Meet Marcel!

 It is nice to be here at Treasure Lake at the same time as friends who also enjoy Silver Dollar City.

Thursday and Friday we were all at SDC at the same time and just saw each other a few times, but ended back here at the same time for the evening entertainment.

Saturday was a rainy day and would have been crowded so we didn’t go out to “The City”.  

Sunday we found a private party selling a mobility scooter in Mountain Home, Arkansas.  It was a good deal and exactly what I need to get around in SDC.  We had a lovely drive which is what we enjoy doing and came back with a new treasure!

It is a perfect fit... in Minnie and for us!  His name is Marcel.

I decided to go to Urgent Care this morning with hopes of getting an injection in my foot, but left with an oral steroid prescription instead.  I trusted the doc when he advised me to keep doing what I am doing in terms of shoe inserts, stretching, icing and to add a night brace and the med.

My chef salad dwarfed Mark’s chicken fried steak at the Farmhouse Restaurant!  We skipped the Blackbery Cobbler even though it has no carbs or calories if you are on vacation! 

 We stopped at The FlagStore and came home and spiffed up Marcel!
