Bluegrass & BBQ

The Bluegrass Festival at Silver Dollar City is one of our two favorites here.  They are still not operating full swing with two indoor theaters not yet open for shows, or the Red Gold Heritage Hall open full of BBQ vendors as usual.   They didn’t open for this festival at all last year.  Things are well on their way to getting back to normal with weekend crowds and no masks required anymore!

Here are some of the groups we have seen so far......

The Homestead Pickers are always here.

Darrel Mosely Band, Greg Blake & Hometown, Ray Caldwell & Tennessee Moon, Liam Purcell & Cane Mill Road, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Larry Stephenson Band, The Punches, The Kody Norris Show, Lori King & Junction 63, The Grascals, The Trailblazers, Joe Mullins & Radio Ramblers,  and the Roving Gambler Band.

Today is a day off at Silver Dollar City so we decided to just take a day off too! We thought we would see about the Showboat Branson Belle, but it is closed.... then we were going to catch the 2:30 show here at the Little Opry nearby.... but then it just felt good to sit.  Maybe we will grill some salmon here in awhile!

Well it looks like you have been enjoying the Bluegrass Festival, even if it’s not back in the full swing of things. How’s your foot treating you? Better I hope. Of course Marcel keeps you off of it!
