New Shoes!

So.... this morning we finally came to the conclusion it is the hidden cable to the DVD player that is our culprit!  I thought I had narrowed that down and out after crawling around unhooking and re-routing HDMI cables BEFORE we bought a new DVD player, but I was wrong!  

Hookup, re-hook up, pay attention, try again, hookup to the other TV.... ah ha!!  Now.... return the new player, get yet another HDMI cable, re-hook, re- route, VOILÁ!  We do not use the DVD player that much if the WiFi is working... .but.... still!  I am stubborn and determined to make things WORK!  (Now we are down to one more tech issue to be solved.... the Polk Audio sound bar that quit working and is supposedly in the works with them sending us a new one.... where?... not sure!!)

We drove through some older neighborhoods today.  We will go back downtown on a warmer day again soon and walk around when my foot is cooperating a little more.

We are in South Dakota’s Pennington County here. (I would have guessed Custer County, but we are close!)

It was a bit overcast, cool and windy today so we went to the Rushmore Mall and headed straight to Tradehome Shoes where the guy there said “HOKA shoes for Plantar Fasciitis”!

I bought them.... me, a Dansko aficionado, who has only allowed a couple of other shoes or boots in the mix since discovering Danskos!

HOKA felt good.... and we added a pair of Alegrias and Eccos too!  We have learned that our feet and their issues are too important to ignore!

We like this part of South Dakota!

It feels like home.
