Mount Rushmore

When we left the Cosmos Mystery Area yesterday, April 26,  we just naturally headed to Mount Rushmore.  It was a nice day and we can’t be here without going and marveling at it again. 

 George, Tom, Teddy and Abe don’t change but we do!

We watch the same film and videos and look at the same displays every time, and always learn something new... or perhaps see something we forgot that we previously knew!

We left the park via Iron Mountain Road down into Custer State Park this time.  Such a nice winding drive!

We took the Needles Highway from the Park to Hill City after this.  Too many more pictures for this post!
