It was a great Sunday afternoon for a scenic drive! We took a back way to Keystone we had not been before and then got a look at Mt Rushmore from a distance. We never tire of that first amazing view!
This was as close as we got today. It was a good day to see things from a sitting position!
This dude was all alone not far from the Washington profile. A nice surprise as we rarely see mountain goats in our travels.
On to Custer for lunch and a celebratory Elk Poop (oatmeal stout) beer at the Buglin’ Bull,
then a quick look and turn around at Crazy Horse. Still in that sitting position!
He still looks the same! 😉 Of course, I never see a difference!
We drove through Custer State Park, but the Needles Highway isn’t open yet.
There is still snow up there, of course!
We took the Wildlife Loop which did not disappoint!
The donkeys always make me laugh! They are SOO familiar and bold! Ha!
